Lake Minnewanka is a campground comfort station owned by Parks Canada in Banff, Alberta. This is an off-grid location that utilizes 16 collectors in order to create electricity using Solar PV technology. The solar panels are used to supply hot water in the summer and for in-floor heating/drying for the remainder of the year. The solar panels also supply electricity for lighting and pumps throughout the year.
