SNC-Lavalin Building:
SNC-Lavalin is a 10 story office tower that was built in 1979. They have upgraded their heating system and are currently using Combined Heat & Power, (CHP), Cogeneration due to the low rate of green electricity. Their system will produce 139 kW of electricity per hour and 706,309 BTU’s of heat which has drastically reduced their transmission and utility costs. The overall efficiency of the boiler and electrical system has also improved by 30%.

My Casel:
My Casel is a 9 Story, 56 unit apartment complex that overlooks Calgary’s City Centre. Likewise, My Casel plans to utilize a CHP-Cogeneration system to supplement electricity and heat to the building in its entirety. The production capabilities of the unit will also be 139 kW of electricity per hour with 706,309 BTU’s of heat. This luxury condominium is expected to achieve an increase in the overall efficiency of their mechanical system by 30%.
